Keyboard Usage

Some general shortcuts are defined in the optional 'Shortcuts' menu:

These shortcuts apply while in Enter Data mode (Find, Insert, Edit):

Enter or Return			In a SINGLE-line entry field: same as 
				clicking OK.

Enter or Shift+Return		In a MULTI-line entry field: same as 
				clicking OK.

Return				In a MULTI-line entry field: moves 
				cursor to next line.

Tab				Moves forward from field to field 
				(or cell to cell)

Shift+Tab			Moves backward from field to field 
				(or cell to cell)

Cmnd+Tab			Moves from a table field to next
				field in window

Shift+Cmnd+Tab			Moves from a table field to previous 
				field in window

Up & Down arrows		Multi-line entry field:  moves up and
				down the lines

Left & Right arrows		Moves left and right within a field

Cmnd-. / Escape			Cancel

Cmnd-. / Ctrl+Break		Interrrupts procedure execution 
				(e.g. report printing)

Cmnd-. / Ctrl+Break		Cancels waiting for semaphore 
				(in multi-user mode)
