The method for getting the information for this file is derived from CDF note ???? "PMT Linearity Test" This file is for t23. The five colloums are: b2 - Reference Pin Diode in Burr Brown counts t23 - QIE read out from the PMT, sum of buffer 2 and 3 eb2 - Statistic Error on b2 et23 - Statistic Error on t23 entries - Entries of each step points The low end study will have a label "Same Calibration" or "Different Calibration". Same Calibration means the ratio of b2 to t2 is the same as the previous run. Different Calibration means this ratio is slightly different. This difference is caused by changes in the ambient temperature, and this changed the gain of the tube. The temperature changes could be as much as 3-4 C degrees. When we did the test, we thought WHA bases would have zener diode, so we did the tests with the zener diodes in the base. However, before Run II the zenor diodes were removed from the WHA base.
