This page describes my research and teaching
ATLAS is one of the two general purpose experiments that will take data at
CERN's Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Details of the group's activities can be
found at http://pppewww.ph.gla.ac.uk/ATLAS.
My interests focus on Higgs physics and low-pt physics.
Some recent talks
There is talk of upgrading the LHC in luminosity by a factor of 10. This will require the development of fast radiation hard tracking detectors. I am currently looking at in-situ measurements of detector damage parameters α and β.
Some recent talks and papers
This work is being carried out as part of the CERN RD50 collaboration.
